The Job
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring timely execution and closeout.
- Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables while aligning with client requirements.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations for cost efficiency.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to monitor progress and ensure quality standards.
- Manage procurement processes, including bid evaluations and vendor selection.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and change orders to adhere to financial constraints.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain clear communication with the project team and stakeholders to address concerns.
The Talent
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of construction project management experience, with a track record of on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in reading technical documents like blueprints and schematics.
- Relevant professional certification in project management or construction management, such as PMP or LEED certification.
- Knowledge of risk management and budget management principles.
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects in India.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations, permits, and approval processes.
- Proficiency in using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.
- Experience with contract negotiations and claims management.
- Familiarity with lean construction principles and methodologies.
