Design Engineer
Responsibilities/ Functions:
- Be team lead and assist to manager in routine operation.
- Involve in technical discussion and clarification with the customer to understand the needs,
- Generate control schematic design drawings as per customers’ requirements, technical specification and standards.
- Selection of protection, control and measuring devices according to requirement for applications such as feeders, motor control,
- Design and arrange mock-up of the proposal to present the realization of electrical instrumentation system.
- Provide feedback to project, sales & marketing department accordingly to customer comments, on the changes of technical requirements by clients.
- Support production in realising the solution for delivery.
- Involve in improvement and development on electrical LT switchboards to be more compatible, effective cost and standardize design.
- Create bill of materials (BOM) for the approved control drawings.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic or controls studies.
- Proficient in CAD software (Briscad, Solidwork, etc.)
- 2 years in this technical field of expertise
- Knowledge of HMI, PLC, sensors, interface essential.
- Able to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
- Able to work under pressure with tight schedules
- Knowledge of switchgear, controlgear, and ACMV system will be added advantages.
