Duties and Responsibilities
· To assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in the daily execution of work;
· Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards;
· Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries;
· To supervise the work of sub-contractors and in-house workers;
· To work closely with other site operations staff to meet the project schedule;
· Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings;
· To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers;
· Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship;
· Attend the daily tool-box meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly;
· Understand and ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.
Summary of Qualifications
1. Vocational Certificate in any relevant technical discipline;
2. At least 5 years of working experience in the related field;
3. Proven experience working as a Site Supervisor;
4. Good knowledge of local building codes and construction safety regulations;
5. Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment;
6. Possessed of relevant safety certification (SCWSH / BCSS / CSOC / W@H / First Aid etc.) is desirable;
7. Highly proactive attitude, self-motivated, team player, problem-solving skills;
8. Excellent organizational and communication skills;
9. May need to work on Sunday and public holiday.
· Must be able to work night shift and split shift
· Must be able to work extra hours or weekend if needed
