1) Remuneration
- FA = Self-Employed receiving Commissions (higher income ceiling) with Allowance/Incentive scheme available
- Bank = Full-time Permanent Employment which offers Basic Salary + Comms (stable base with opportunity to earn more)
2) Client Acquisition
- FA = Roadshow, Events + Social Media + Cold Calling (clients sourced by agency or individual FA) + Warm Market (family/friends)
- Bank = Branch Walk-Ins + Cold Calling (500-600 assigned clients)
3) Products
- FA = Full suite of Insurance Products + Funds + Other services
- Bank = Majority of Insurance Products (excl. Health Insurance) + Funds + Secondary Banking products (but no revenue generated)
4) Minimum Education Requirements
- FA: Minimum GCE ‘A’ Levels, or Diploma from a local polytechnic, and above
- Bank: Diploma from a local polytechnic, or Degree of any discipline, and above
