We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of all ages, from infants to adolescents, to help them develop the skills needed for everyday activities. The role involves evaluating children's needs, designing therapy interventions, and providing support to both patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess children to determine developmental challenges and establish appropriate treatment goals.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address sensory processing, motor skills, and daily living activities.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing play-based activities to engage children and promote progress.
- Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers on home activities to reinforce therapy outcomes.
- Work closely with other professionals (such as speech therapists, physical therapists, and teachers) to provide a holistic approach to child development.
- Monitor and document children's progress, adjusting plans as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children in a therapy or educational setting preferred.
- Knowledge of sensory integration, developmental milestones, and play-based therapy approaches.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, caring attitude.
