As a Network Security Engineer, you will provide Level 1/2 centralized technical support (Network & Cyber).
Job Description:
• Participate in maintenance standby duty to cover 24x7 support on rotational basis as pre-assigned by the team lead.
• Ensure SLA Level is achieved for every fault case.
• Ensure escalation is carried out when a fault call is beyond the knowledge of L1.
• Attend to daily call assignments when not in standby during office hours.
• Perform weekend or after office hours duty though not on standby if required.
• Attend to preventive maintenance not limited to hardware inventory.
• Follow up on cases from opening till closure.
• Update incident tickets properly and promptly.
• Obtain certifications required to support key customers.
• New assignments by Ops manager or TSM when needed.
Job Requirement:-
• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent.
• Preferably 2 or more years of IT working experience.
• Basic Cisco and Alcatel switches/routers/wireless knowledge.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills on layer 2 and layer 3.
• Basic Network Security Knowledge.
• Basic Server Administration Knowledge.
• Certification in CCNA or any other network certifications will be a value-add.
• Possess initiative and disposition with a strong commitment and orientation towards results and high-quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivator with a positive attitude and high energy.
