Key Responsibilities and Time Allocation:
Strategic Initiative Management (40%):
- Work directly with the founders to define strategic initiatives and independently oversee their execution from conception to completion
- Take the lead in high-impact projects spanning across multiple functions to drive growth and scale, ensuring that they are progressing as planned and making real-time adjustments when necessary.
- Lead operational initiatives to expand Blood’s footprint in Southeast Asia and beyond
Operational Oversight & Continuous Improvement (30%):
- Oversee the company’s core operations and work with department leaders to improve process efficiency and streamline workflows / consider operational best practices to ensure the company is well-positioned for scaling.
- Implement stage-appropriate tools and systems that enable better visibility, accountability, and drive continuous improvement of operational execution across the business together with leaders and managers
- Step into operational, marketing, sales, product, supply chain or financial roles as needed to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
Strategic Leadership and Cross-functional Collaboration (25%):
- Work closely with all functional teams (sales, marketing, supply chain, etc.) to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Break down silos and foster collaboration between departments to ensure that initiatives are executed smoothly and goals are met.
- Ensure that all stakeholders are kept in the loop and that resources are allocated efficiently to support operational needs.
- Participate in monthly board meetings, providing operational updates and contributing to strategic discussions.
- Collaborate with co-founders to translate board-level strategies into actionable operational plans.
Resource Allocation & Risk Management (5%):
- Assess resource needs and manage the allocation of time, people, and budget across strategic initiatives.
- Identify operational risks early and work with teams to mitigate potential issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of challenges related to capacity, budget constraints, or operational inefficiencies
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years in a strategic operations role, with a track record of leading high-impact projects and initiatives.
- Strong operational and project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex, cross-functional work.
- Deep understanding of operational KPIs and how to drive efficiencies in a growing business.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to work across teams and build relationships.
- Data-driven, analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
