Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team in preparing and cooking North Indian fusion dishes.
- Perform basic cooking tasks, such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and plating dishes.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and hygiene at all times.
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the restaurant’s high standards in terms of quality and presentation.
- Assist in stock control and inventory management by keeping track of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly.
- Help with dishwashing and cleaning duties as required.
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a kitchen assistant or assistant cook is preferred, but fresh candidates with a passion for cooking are welcome to apply.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior kitchen staff.
- Good knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks.
