Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Accountant / Executive Secretary to the Director to provide comprehensive administrative support.
The ideal candidate will excel in multitasking, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong attention to detail. This role requires discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Accounting: Manage a full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, invoicing, payment processing, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and GST submissions.• Preparation of Invoices • Cashflow tracking and cashflow management . • Preparing all annual documents ready for IRAS filingAssist as required in due diligence and financial analysis for new investments.
- Timely and accurate preparation and analysis of financial and
- management account for a group of companies held by the Director
- function, in accordance with FRS and the statutory requirement
- Involve in compliance control and risk management activities
- Liaising with external auditors, company secretary, and tax agents
- Handle corporate secretarial matters
- Support forecasting and budgeting exercise, monitor actual
- performance against forecast and investigate variances
- Assist in group and corporate matters and M&A transactions
- Preparation of XBRL for ACRA filing
- Preparation and submission of GST filing
- Handle any other ad-hoc assignments and projects are assigned
- Assist in marketing related tasks
- Comprehensive administrative support to Directors.
- Written Communication: Draft, proofread, and edit a variety of documents, including correspondence, contracts, meeting minutes, reports and presentations.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize and attend meetings, take detailed minutes (when applicable).
- Project Management: Manage and maintain Senior Management's special and strategic projects, handling confidential information .
- Travel Planning: Manage travel arrangements for the Executive Directors, including itinerary planning, accommodation, transportation, and expense reporting.
Profile
- Diploma in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent with relevant working experience
- Accounting experience in a professional services company preferred
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Preferably past experience in legal firm/shipping firm
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant to senior executives.
- Independent and reliable with a high sense of integrity and work ethic
