Job Purpose
As a Facilities Management Executive, you will oversee the management of facilities of Strides Premier. Your primary responsibilities include planning and supervising preventive maintenance and daily operations to create a conducive and safe working environment. You will implement proactive measures to enhance maintenance standards and efficiency, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Management & Administration
- Liaise with stakeholders (Contractors/Sub-contractors/Authorities/etc) on building matters
- Lead and drive the tendering processes, evaluations, recommendations, and contract awards.
- Maintain policies and procedures for facility management, operations, and administration, ensuring proper documentation throughout.
- Establish and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) for on-site staff, when necessary.
- Prepare budgets and monthly management reports.
Maintenance of Facilities
- Lead and oversee maintenance activities.
- Supervise contractors to ensure adherence to service standards.
- Establish, manage and monitor the efficient operation of office systems, equipment and facilities.
- Oversee capital expenditures, enhancement projects, and repairs, including contract documentation.
- Liaise and manage needs and requirements with relevant stakeholders (i.e. Contractors/Sub-contractors/Authorities/etc)
Safety & Security
- Coordinate with landlords for scheduled building fire drills and serve as the Fire Safety Coordinator during
Additional Responsibilities
- Convene, conduct or support premises inspections and meetings.
- Assist with the organization of office events.
- Act as the coordinator for the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework.
- Ensure the achievement of all relevant plans and outcomes according to the stipulated timeline
- Support any ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Building/Facilities Management or a related field, with a preference for four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with statutory requirements and knowledge of Energy Reduction and Sustainability Programs.
- Technical expertise in building and infrastructure maintenance, including custodial maintenance.
- Fire Safety Manager Certification is a plus.
