About Our Client
Our Client is a dynamic and innovative company in Singapore that specializes in premium food solutions. They are looking to improve their current performance both locally and regionally of which they are seeking for an Assistant Manager (Fleet) to be based at their HQ in Singapore.
Job Description
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement effective fleet management strategies to ensure timely execution and operational efficiency.
- Optimize the fleet management system for cost-effectiveness and continuously seek improvements.
- Oversee all logistics related to fleet operations, including GPS tracking, administration, and vehicle servicing.
- Maintain and update comprehensive records of fleet tracking and performance metrics.
- Establish a robust vehicle management system to oversee repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards across all fleet management areas.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high service standards.
- Organize regular vehicle maintenance check-ups and manage documentation for all fleet activities.
- Lead and manage drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.
- Assess performance metrics to drive enhancements in efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vehicle leasing companies and service providers for long-term partnerships.
- Recruit, train, and guide the delivery team, fostering a cohesive and high-performing environment.
The Successful Applicant
You should have a Diploma or a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, or related field and experience. You should have knowledge of fleet servicing, fleet scheduling, fleet analysis, and operations. It is essential that you are capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities effectively. You should be proficient in using computerised fleet management software/tools. Having a valid Class 3 driver's license is preferred.
