Responsibilities :
- Provide legal support to business operations by reviewing contracts across various sectors throughout Southeast Asia.
- Offer compliance support by developing compliance policies and training materials to raise awareness on compliance matters across Southeast Asia.
- Assist management and internal teams by advising on legal and compliance-related issues, including operational and contract matters in the region.
- Review supply chain management contracts and documentation from both legal and compliance perspectives.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- At least 3 year of post-qualification experience working for a Singapore law firm
- Qualified to practice law in Singapore (admitted to the Singapore bar)
- Experience in general corporate law would be ideal, but candidates with experience in other relevant areas of law would be considered, including litigation and/or restructuring and insolvency
- Good understanding of corporate law and contract law, while at the same time able to provide commercially-sound advice
- Strong communication and good interpersonal skills
- A meticulous, organized and resourceful team player
- A highly motivated individual who works independently with little supervision
