We are seeking a Financial and Business Analysis Manager to be part of a dynamic and fast-growing organization, where you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and help shape the future of the company’s growth.
Reporting to the Business head, you will be largely involved in the Financial and Business Analysis of the Group Companies assigned. You will prepare comprehensive financial analysis of the business performance of the group companies and prepare business highlights to the Board spotlighting deviations from the plans and forecasting outlooks. You will act as a business partner within the associated businesses to provide valuable insights on critical decisions and provide solutions to drive profitability and shareholder value. While the accounting activities have been outsourced, you will oversee the activities of the service provider and review the financial monthly reports and coordinate between the service provider / auditor and subsidiaries during the annual financial closing and liase with the tax service provider for filing the tax returns and fulfilling the tax obligations.
SCOPE OF WORK & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for managing the Reporting and Analysis work-stream
- Preparation of management reports, variance analysis, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts & monthly outlooks
- Financial management reporting, provide operational business insights and commentary on variance analysis
- Analyse the data and understand the financial performance and position of the Group to identify key causes of business variances for performance measurement.
- Continually look into enhancing management reporting processes and frameworks to facilitate efficient and quality decision making
- Prepare Board meeting materials
- Facilitates information flow and gathering from business units and entities within the Group
- Review the books of accounts being maintained by the service provider.
- Oversee outsourced accounting activities, including monthly reports and annual financial closing, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Liaise with tax service providers to ensure timely filing of tax returns and obligations.
- Handle the banking transactions for the Company
- Other ad-hoc assignments
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business, or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in finance and business analysis
- Strong in financial modelling (able to build from scratch), advise on financial impact of new initiatives/business cases
- Well versed in Excel, Power Point and visualization tools to drive efficiencies in reports generation process
- Strong communication skills to liaise with the different business units and stakeholders
- Meticulous, committed, ability to work in fast-paced and complex business environment

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Team player with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
