Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the prefabrication factory/yard, reporting to the Project Director, with a focus on the production of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) modules and manpower planning.
- Ensure MEP design and construction processes align with the latest technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and automation techniques.
- Implement BIM and Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) methods to enhance communication and collaboration between the design and production teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends in MEP, modular construction, and sustainability practices, ensuring all processes meet Building and Construction Authority (BCA) regulations and other industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems into building designs.
- Develop and implement quality control measures, ensuring all systems are tested, commissioned, and certified in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor MEP system performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing production.
- Apply Lean Management principles to improve productivity, streamline processes, and reduce waste in the factory.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to support innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the prefabrication factory operates efficiently, delivering projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in managing prefabrication or MEP/M&E-related operations.
- Experience working with Main Contractors or M&E Subcontractors.
- Proficiency in BIM, automation, and modular construction technologies.
- Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and industry standards (BCA compliance).
- Ability to lead and train teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
