We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer / Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, a passion for creating functional yet aesthetically pleasing spaces, and experience in architecture, design, and project management.
You will collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to bring design visions to life in both residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Conceptualize and develop interior designs for various spaces, including residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Space Planning: Create detailed layout designs that maximize functionality, flow, and aesthetic appeal while considering client needs, budget, and building regulations.
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget. Provide design solutions that meet their objectives.
- Material Selection: Research and select materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes that align with the project’s vision and budget.
- Technical Drawings: Prepare detailed architectural and interior design drawings using CAD or other design software.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure design plans are executed efficiently and within timelines.
- Budget Management: Oversee project budgets and ensure that all elements of the design adhere to the financial plan.
- Trends & Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and techniques, incorporating innovative ideas into projects.
- Sustainability: Integrate sustainable design principles and eco-friendly materials into projects when possible.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, 3D rendering and visualization software.
- Strong knowledge of materials and furnishings.
- Experience in styling and selecting soft furnishings such as textiles, drapery, and decorative elements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management abilities with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
