Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new capabilities and unlock colleagues’ potential to service clients better by making their lives easier with automation.
- Prototype, productise, and maintain task-oriented RPA bots (mainly using Python) to support operations. Examples of bots include:
- Application/Web automation (e.g. data scraping, data entry, data refresh, etc.)
- Tabular Data Processing (e.g. MS Excel, structured databases, etc.)
- Systems Integration (e.g. API development/usage, ETL, data transformation, etc.)
- Assist in AI projects to generalise requirements and make our products dynamic and scalable, solving business needs in an effective and efficient way. Projects include:
- Smart Rostering Support (e.g. translate requirements from stakeholders and generalise to apply on various industries/functions/locations, assist in proof-of-concept/UAT/execution, change and implement model, client support and training, etc.)
- Gen-AI/GPT Support (e.g. prompt engineering with quality assurance, RPA integration, etc.)
- Adapt to production standards while following rapid prototyping phase.
- Work with applications and algorithms development team to generalise cases into modules with interface as an internal or external client service.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in quantitative discipline (e.g. IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field), or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong in problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Python and SQL, ideally with refactoring and OOP concept.
- Experience with following is a plus:
- Python data scraping and processing (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, Pandas, etc.)
- RPA market tools (e.g. MS Power Automate, etc.).
- Relational, distributed, and NoSQL databases (e.g. MS SQL, PostgreSQL MongoDB, etc.).
- Diverse programming/scripting/server-side languages (e.g. PowerShell, MS Excel Formulas and VBA, JavaScript, etc.).
- Web/API developments, architecture, and security implementations.
- Cloud services and deployment (e.g. Azure, AWS, Alibaba Cloud, etc.).
- Analytics and BI skills (e.g. Power BI, etc.).
