Role : Agile Data, Report and Dashboard Analyst

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar quantitative discipline, with at least 3-5 years of total work experience in banking/finance industry, preferably with business / functional knowledge
  • Having experience as a Agile Data Analyst or in a related role/field in banking/finance industry is highly desirable.
  • Must : At least 2 years of hand-on experience in MS SQL, Jira, Confluence, Qlik Sense, Power BI, eazyBI and relevant data/report-related plugins for these systems.
  • Must have working experience with MS Excel and other data analysis languages / technologies - Python, SQL, SAS
  • Must have working experience in banking or financial operations for at least 1+ year.
  • Excellent command of Excel, and preferably fluent in one or more data analysis languages / technologies / tools, such as Python, SQL, SAS, R, SCALA and similar.
  • Experience in gathering and documentation of business and technical requirements for data collection, analysis, maintenance, and reporting purposes.
  • Proficient in designing, developing, modeling, and documenting data-driven solutions – including capturing / creating / utilizing data architectures, metadata systems, data dictionaries, databases, applications, pipelines, BI Tools, Big Data Platforms, analytical /query, and visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy, and keen to deep dive into data to find answers to yet unknown questions and have a natural desire to go beneath the surface of a problem.
  • Exceptional data visualization and communication skills to present findings and insights to senior management and key stakeholders, including non-technical business users.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-fostered, multi-tasking environment, and a proactive team player who is curious about data and possesses a strong drive to create and lead initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing, and perform data profiling and gap analysis, source to target mappings, data issue capturing, resolution and escalation, including identifying scope creep, improving data quality and others.
  • Drive complex data analysis to identify, analyze, and predict trends or patterns associated with potential performance/audit/compliance risks, and lead and implement automation in data compilation and report/KPI generation for analysis use in management meetings, including performance and key deliverables of projects. Standardize the reports, KPIs and performance measurement metrics across Programs and Projects
  • Create and maintain key data sets and ways of collecting data, use different tools and technologies such as SQL, R, Python, eazyBI, Power BI, Jira, Confluence, and like to conduct timely ad-hoc and scheduled data/report/KPI preparation requests, perform data, transactional and trend analysis from multiple sources, and build visualization dashboard/generate reports for various stakeholders.
  • Work with Agile Coaches to guide and improve Ways of Working for agile teams by revamping data collection and leveraging data and generate weekly project reports for the teams to monitor their progress and highlight any inconsistencies, impediments, areas of improvement and similar.
