We are a well-established local SME with over 40 years of experience in the electrical engineering and contracting industry looking for a responsible and reliable storeman to manage and organize the goods and materials stored within a store.
Job Responsibilities:
· Responsible for Progress Claims, Variation Orders, Final Accounts, Settlement
· Measuring and taking off quantities, liaising and negotiate with contractors and suppliers
· Provide estimates and evaluate costing to achieve competitive costing for tender submission
· Able to Source and Liaise with Site Personnel, Suppliers, Contractors, Consultants and/or Architects for all project-related matters.
· Able to ensure timely finalisation of contracts
· Any other duties that deem required to complete the works
Job Requirements:
· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
· 3 years and above experience as QS in Electrical Works in Singapore or overseas
· Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
· Competent in software skills MS Office and AutoCAD.
· Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
· Able to start work immediately is an advantage
