Our Company:
We specialize in aluminium windows and doors, shower screens and other glass related products. We are looking for a meticulous and motivated aluminium designer/drafter to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering high quality solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Design & Drafting:
- Design aluminium and glass solutions (For windows, doors, etc.)
- Creating cutting details/Bill of Materials (BOM) for fabrication and material purchase
- Drafting of shop drawings (e.g. autocad)
- Create purchase orders for required materials
- Attend site meetings or visits (if required)
2. Operations & Scheduling
- Manage daily rostering of work teams
- Oversee fabrication work and overall project coordination
- Conduct daily team briefings and toolbox meetings
- Support work teams as necessary
- Supervise stock monitoring and material orders
3. Ad-hoc duties on Operational Matters
Requirements:
- Responsible, with good organizational and communication skills
- Meticulous and comfortable with using technology
- Team player with positive attitude; willing to learn
- Good problem-solving ability
- Open to picking up new software and technology (ERP, CRM)
- Possess aluminium and glass knowledge and/or building industry knowledge
Work Hours:
Mon-Fri 8am to 5.30pm
Sat 8am to 12.30pm
