Our client seeks a skilled and driven team player to join their Singapore Team as an Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Headquarters Pre-Opening Team to manage the pre-opening phase, which includes securing third-party service contracts, developing standard operating procedures, and creating training manuals.
- Contribute to initial budgets/expenses (OPEX/CAPEX) and site planning to ensure optimal long-term property performance.
- Serve as the primary decision-maker within Team for daily operational issues raised by residents and third-party vendors.
- Oversee maintenance and improvement projects.
- Communicate with the Community team regarding all property-related matters that affect guest services and operations.
- Lead the team to enhance satisfaction by providing personal recognition and prompt and friendly service.
- Effectively handle emergencies or safety concerns, addressing residents' needs and resolving related issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency.
- Manage staff recruitment, role assignments, training, and motivation of on-site teams to enhance engagement and retention strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the hospitality, serviced apartments, hotel type operations is required.
- At least 7 years of experience managing daily operations in accommodation properties.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related field.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese; additional language skills are a plus.
- Responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Demonstrated leadership and training capabilities, with a talent for connecting warmly with people.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with residents and team members.
- Ability to collaborate across different business units while managing multiple tasks under pressure.
- Skilled in resolving conflicts fairly and productively in accordance with company values.
- Capable of establishing and maintaining an efficient operational system to meet business needs.
