Role Overview:
This position focuses on meeting sales targets within an assigned territory by cultivating opportunities from both existing clients and new prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and meet gross profit budgets for services within the designated area.
- Develop strategic plans to ensure individual and team achievements.
- Identify and build connections with regional clients that align with the company’s ideal customer profile.
- Maintain active engagement with clients and key stakeholders, both within the organization and externally.
- Fulfill the required FaceTime goals, including customer visits, calls, and targeted outreach, for both potential and existing clients.
- Establish and maintain a pipeline that consistently surpasses regional targets and sales objectives.
- Quickly act on new opportunities and log them in the CRM system.
- Stay informed about new shipping schedules, routes, and market offerings to provide clients with optimized supply chain solutions.
- Record and share relevant client insights with the internal team.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
- Utilize GSP tools as directed.
- Collaborate closely with sales and other departments to maximize revenue potential and support the company’s broader business goals.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success.
- Expertise in international transportation and logistics sales.
- Strong understanding of local and global economic conditions, market trends, and business issues like currency fluctuations and cultural differences.
- Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software tools.
- Fluency in the local language, with strong communication skills in English and any additional languages needed for customer interaction.
- Skilled in presenting to small groups, with confidence in delivering presentations to 2-3 people.
