Mandatory Skills: At least 5 years of experience as a Level 2/Level 3 Network Engineer
Location: Bay Front Avenue
Shift: 12 hours working * 3 days, includes night shift (May require working inside the Casino)
Job Description:
- Support network infrastructure projects,
- provide support to resolve network incidents and issues, provide post-cutover support for various projects as directed by IT Network team
- Participate in project meetings, discussions, and handover of projects.
- Including draft, review and submit project related documents/ reports/ metrics as and when required
- Troubleshoot project related issues and resolve such issues, manage and monitor system utilization and performance during pre-project and post-project cutover and any other tasks or works as and when requested and assigned by the Company
Scope of Work:
- Work closely with project teams to understand network requirements and objectives, ensuring seamless integration of network infrastructure within the integrated resort.
- Provide comprehensive support and administration for the entire project, encompassing Cisco routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Implement and manage network solutions to support project initiatives, prioritizing scalability, performance, and robust security.
- Configure and optimize network devices, including routers and switches.
- Configure Multicasting Protocols to ensure efficient multicast traffic distribution.
- Conduct thorough network assessments, identifying potential improvements and upgrades to align with project goals.
Key Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in project-oriented environments within the hospitality or integrated resort industry.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and architectures (e.g., OSPF, BGP, IP Multicast, Policy Routing).
• Experience in Layer 3 Routing and Layer 2 Switching, with strong expertise in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco devices.
• Experience with network infrastructure design and implementation, including LAN/WAN, data centers, and cloud networks.
• Skilled in deploying Layer-2 technologies like VLANs, VTP, STP, RSTP, Inter-VLAN routing, VLAN Trunking, Ether Channels, VLAN access-maps, and port security.
