Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and upgrade Cybersecurity products distributed by the organization. This may occasionally require managing customer relations and project timelines.
- Provide viable solutions or alternatives tailored to customer requirements.
- Conduct training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams on our product offerings.
- Independently execute installations and configurations by following product manuals.
- Enhance your skills and obtain relevant technical certifications for the products or technologies you manage.
- Gradually develop expertise in specific domains to facilitate knowledge transfer and technical skill development for our maintenance team, thereby improving customer support.
- Assist the sales and support teams with technical issues, including product feature clarification, implementation guidance, tender compliance, and other ad-hoc tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in the workplace.
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of performing well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and excelling in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a Nitec/Higher Nitec certificate, Diploma, or Degree in IT, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Ideally, have a minimum of 2 years of experience in IT, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity. Candidates without relevant experience may be considered for the Associate Engineer role.
- Strong understanding of technology infrastructures, including Firewalls, VPNs, DLP, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy, DNS, Email Security, Log Management, SIEM, Virtualization, Containers, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DevOps/DevSecOps, Privileged Account Security, Identity Access Management, and Endpoint Security, including CyberArk Conjur.
- Proficient in troubleshooting various technology, network, and system issues, such as routing, NAT, VLAN, Multicast, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, SNMP, Syslog, SMTP, TLS, and SSH.
- Demonstrates a strong interest in keeping up-to-date with cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
- Preference is given to candidates holding certifications like Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Check Point CCSE/CCSM, Thales, CyberArk CDE, Trellix, ArcSight ESM/Logger, ITOM, SailPoint, CISSP, CREST, or OSCP.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Bash scripting, and PowerShell is advantageous.
- Adhere to the company’s Information Security Standards.
