Job Description & Requirements
- Overall in-charge for preparing lifting and erection plan for all the Cranes and machineries.
- Prepare, develop and review Lifting plans, Method Statement, Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedure of all subcontractor for any lifting activities.
- Conduct routine checks and inspections on work site to ensure compliance with authorities and client’s requirements.
- Daily walk about around assign areas of site and make a note of compliance and non-compliance to HSE operating procedure.
- Produce analysis and procedures and raise the related material take offs;
- Perform discipline checks of the procedures and analysis;
- Read project specifications and provide feedback from an engineering perspective;
- Prepare the engineering planning for the project (procedures/analysis/risk management) together with the Lead Engineer and / or Construction Manager for presentation to the project team;
- Establish the necessary engineering manpower to perform the scope of work together with the Lead Engineer and/or Safety Team;
- Provide training to the lifting crews for safe procedures in Lifting operations
- Provide input to improve and develop standard procedures and working guidelines in the most efficient and safe manner.
- Minimum 5 years of Engineering experience with Degree in Civil Engineering Recognised by the PE board, or equivalent;
- Previous experience with heavy lifting engineering;
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- At Least 3 years of experience in the construction supervision for projects of similar Scale and Complexity.
