Assistant Director, Billing & Credit Management

You will be a key member in the Patient Financial Services to provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure the development and timely and seamless implementation of policy changes relating to billing systems. You play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations and administrative functions of Patient Financial Services. You will be responsible to meet the Division’s Key Performance Indicators and provide support to various internal and external stakeholders to achieve the Hospital’s vision and mission. You are an advocator for healthcare service excellence and drive quality improvement and business process re-engineering initiatives, harnessing value driven best practices and applying technology in operational management. This position supports the Director in managing billing, collections, revenue cycle operations and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a good understanding of healthcare finance, and a commitment to enhancing Patient Financial Services.



Education, Training and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy/business or related discipline
  • Demonstrated leadership with ability to work in a dynamic, complex and fast-faced environment and manage changing priorities
  • Good understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations with superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a strong strategic and business mindset
  • At least 12 years of work experience healthcare financing and of which 8 years are in a managerial capacity
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collectively across departments.
