We are seeking dynamic individuals to join us in supporting and executing the critical logistics operations that ensure our business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:
- Schedule drivers work day based on port requirements.
- Assign vehicles to drivers and record daily attendance.
- Arrange maintenance and repairs, and manage the number of vehicles in the workshop to ensure adequate availability for daily deployment.
- Conduct weekly safety inspections, driver ATI training, and monthly toolbox meetings. Manage the discipline and attendance of IGH drivers, arranging backup drivers as necessary.
- Monitor driver headcount and actively recruit IGH drivers when needed.
- Respond to vehicle breakdowns or traffic incidents, performing on-site inspections.
- Ensure all drivers consistently adhere to and follow safety checklists and requirements, aiming for zero incidents.
- Investigate any incidents or accidents involving the IGH team and discuss corrective and preventive measures with superiors.
- Carry out any other ad hoc duties as assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements:
- Willing to work shifts.
- A valid Class 3 driving licence is required; a Class 4 licence would be highly advantageous.
- Experience in PSA or workshop settings is a considerable asset.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- A strong team player, with the capability to work independently when needed.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment and perform well under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Resilient, able to multitask, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
