Job Description:
Finance and Accounts Management:
- Support the Group Financial Controller (GFC) in overseeing all finance and accounting functions.
- Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, corporate finance, treasury, asset management, and taxation.
- Standardize costing, accounting processes, and management reporting.
Operational and Strategic Finance:
- Supervise daily operations of the finance team, focusing on financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Enhance business performance through efficient operational and strategic financial management.
- Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and risk assessments.
- Handle letters of credit, trust receipts, bank loans, foreign exchange (FX), and invoice financing.
Policy and Procedure Management:
- Create workflows and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key processes; implement internal control systems and management reporting templates.
- Establish, update, monitor, and enforce financial policies and procedures.
KPI Setting and Monitoring:
- Assist the GFC and CEOs in establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) across all business units, emphasizing revenue management and cost control.
Compliance and Legal Review:
- Review compliance with legal and regulatory finance-related matters.
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and internal policies.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, committees, the Board of Directors (BOD), investors, SGX, Corporate Secretary, government authorities, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Reporting and Announcements:
- Oversee the preparation and publication of the annual report, including financial and sustainability reports.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory reporting, coordinating with auditors on queries and finalizing audit reports.
- Assist the GFC in managing result announcements to SGX.
- Supervise tax reporting, including quarterly GST, corporate income tax, and other taxes.
Additional Duties:
- Support the implementation of ERP systems.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of SFRS(i), financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
