Job Info:
- Salary: Basic up to $4000 + AWS + VB
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm)
- Location: Woodlands North MRT
Job Scope:
- Design, test, troubleshoot, and commission company products, including jigs, fixtures, and both semi-automatic and fully automatic custom machines
- Participate in customer meetings to discuss project requirements and proposals for new initiatives
- Conduct research and develop innovative ideas to improve the company’s performance and competitiveness in industrial automation
- Assist in or manage the procurement of required materials and equipment to support the execution of these tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum ITE, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least two years of experience in customized automation machine design
- Experience in customized semi-conductor, connector, or machine design is preferred
- Knowledge of Solidworks is preferred; familiarity with Pro-E and Inventor is an added advantage
- Strong intuition for mechanical movement, function, and performance. Good understanding of 2D and 3D objects
- Strong understanding of machining processes
- Intrinsic desire and passion for designing high-performance machines
- Able to communicate technical concepts well in English
- Able to work effectively in a relatively stressful environment
