Our client, a well-known Japanese company is looking for candidates for the Food Safety Officer position.
Responsibilities: -
- Ensures high standards of food safety requirements in all Outlets.
- Conducts regular site inspections of all Outlets to ensure Outlet Staff adhere to the rules and regulations required under Singapore Food Agency (SFA).
- Conducts regular checks on Outlet Staff in term of personal hygiene.
- Identifies lapses and take prompt corrective action.
- Assists in checking records, documents, and files in Outlets.
- Attends to external auditors, follows up until rectification.
- Develops food safety training materials and assessment plan.
- Detect any non-conformance and rectification immediately.
- To train Outlet Staff to create higher level of awareness on food safety requirements.
- To analyze feedback from supermarkets’ audits and ensure implementation of resolution.
- Co-ordinate and ensure proper relevant and applicable records are maintained.
- Handle incident reporting and investigate for feedback and complaints.
- Ensure all Outlets properly handle and store of all food items in accordance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) standards.
- Any other ad-hoc projects assigned by superior.
Requirements:
- GCE “A” Level, Diploma or equivalent in Food Science/related standard.
- Possess WSQ Food Safety Course Level 3.
- Possess knowledge in SFA regulation.
- Able to multitask and work within timeline.
- Good communication skills.
- Team player, proactive and meticulous in work.
