Job Description & Requirements
- Manage entire sourcing, ordering and logistics for helicopter / airplane business.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
- Negotiate purchase order with suppliers and payment terms, etc.
- Monitoring supplier performance and addressing issues promptly.
- Developing and maintaining accurate procurement documentation records.
- Monitoring and expediting order deliveries to guarantee the timely availability of required items.
- Oversee inventory levels and distributions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to procurement activities.
- Maintain full spectrum of daily Logistics & Shipment administration and documentations (deliveries, freights, bills and customers’ enquiries).
- Work closely with Overseas Sales/Customer Facing teams, Indonesia team as well as Finance & Purchase teams, suppliers, customers and forwarders for shipments, deliveries, etc.
- Coordinating of shipments, prepare shipping documents and invoices and attend to enquiries on status of shipments, freight costs, etc.
- Maintain logistics databases and assist in the preparation of the transportation and distribution statistics for analysis.
- Checking and verifying freight invoices based on prices quoted and ensuring full set of documents are received for payment and audit purposes.
- Manage freight forwarders and external logistics providers to ensure on-time deliveries of goods & services and competitive quotes and pricing.
- Prepares monthly reports on shipments, freight, inventory warehouse and other costs, where required.
- Monitor inventory at warehouse regularly & ensure efficient stock management.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve problems on deliveries, cargo damages, payments and complaints.
- Handle loss or damage and return goods if such discrepancies arise.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Job Requirement
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics, or related discipline.
- Min. 3 years’ relevant experience in supply chain /logistics industry experiences in helicopter / aircraft spare parts businesses.
- Ability to work independently, as team player and meticulous.
- Familiar with Incoterms, transcontinental transportation matters including shipments and dealing with Government customers.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in working with Customers in Indonesia is preferred.
- Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
