About the Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for early childhood education to join our team as Trainee Preschool Educators. This role provides the opportunity to learn and develop essential skills in a real-world preschool environment. You will work closely with experienced educators, receive training, and contribute to the holistic development of children aged 3 to 6 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist educators in planning and conducting daily lessons and activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Support classroom management and ensure a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Help observe and assess children’s development and progress, providing input to individual learning plans.
  • Participate in the preparation of teaching materials, lesson plans, and classroom setups.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with children, creating a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages learning and creativity.
  • Assist in managing children’s routines such as meal times, naps, and transitions between activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to provide regular updates on their child's progress and well-being.
  • Attend professional development workshops and training sessions to continually improve teaching skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high standard of care and education in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about working with young children and contributing to their development.
  • Willingness to undergo training and pursue relevant early childhood education qualifications (e.g., WSQ or Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education).
  • Positive attitude, good communication skills, and a desire to learn.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, patience, and empathy towards young children.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and follow guidance from experienced educators.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in early childhood education is an advantage but not required.
  • Minimum GCE "O" level with C6 for English
  • Basic understanding of early childhood development and teaching practices.
