- This position of Cafe Asst Service Manager will report to Cafe Manager.
- He or She will be responsible for day-to-day front of house operations to deliver a high level of service for our guests.
- He or she will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to a team of service staff.
- Welcome and settle down guests according to standards.
- Taking food and drinks order and to provide recommendations where needed.
- Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff.
- Support administrative duties including, dealing with vendors, staff roster, billing, daily report and duty assignments.
- Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements to our menus.
- Handle and resolve issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Manage team of staff under supervision, including supporting staff members who are from special needs background.
- Conduct briefing and updates to the staff.
- Carry out regular checks of all areas of the cafe to ensure cleanliness and tidiness at all times and the functionality of all facilities.
- In addition to operational duties, he or she is expected to contribute to initiatives to uplift the cafe's revenue performance.
- To perform any other appropriate duties and responsibility as assigned.
