Cafe Asst Service Manager

Crossings Social Ventures Pte. Ltd.

  1. We are a social enterprise cafe serving quality food at good price.
  2. This position of Cafe Asst Service Manager will report to Cafe Manager.
  3. He or She will be responsible for day-to-day front of house operations to deliver a high level of service for our guests.
  4. He or she will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to a team of service staff.
  5. Welcome and settle down guests according to standards.
  6. Taking food and drinks order and to provide recommendations where needed.
  7. Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff.
  8. Support administrative duties including, dealing with vendors, staff roster, billing, daily report and duty assignments.
  9. Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements to our menus.
  10. Handle and resolve issues or complaints in a professional manner.
  11. Manage team of staff under supervision, including supporting staff members who are from special needs background.
  12. Conduct briefing and updates to the staff.
  13. Carry out regular checks of all areas of the cafe to ensure cleanliness and tidiness at all times and the functionality of all facilities.
  14. In addition to operational duties, he or she is expected to contribute to initiatives to uplift the cafe's revenue performance.
  15. To perform any other appropriate duties and responsibility as assigned.
