This role is responsible for overseeing and executing human resource functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. It ensures the effective implementation of the organization's HR policies, supports staff development, and promotes a positive work environment to help achieve the company's objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, work pass applications, and final selection. Supervise employee onboarding to ensure a seamless integration into the organization.
- Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and promote a positive workplace culture through consistent communication and feedback channels.
- Support the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems, providing guidance on setting performance goals and tracking employee progress.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws. Regularly review and update policies in line with current legislation and best practices.
- Identify employee training needs and coordinate professional development programs to support skill enhancement and career growth.
- Assist with payroll administration, benefits management, and compensation plans. Handle inquiries related to salary, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave applications, and absences to support effective workforce planning.
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Prepare and present regular HR metrics, reports, and dashboards to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Organize employee engagement activities, wellness programs, and initiatives that promote work-life balance and job satisfaction.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A minimum Diploma in Human Resource or a related field is required.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
- Familiarity with the Employment Act.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to construction sites and work in both office and field environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Prefer someone immediate availability to start work or with short notice.
