Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Identify and address potential issues that may arise in the sales order to delivery process and customer service.
- Collaborating with the Sales and Business Development manager to reach out to customers on a regular basis to keep them up to date on the newest commercial information.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for managing complaints and handling claims.
Order Management
- Provide sales administration and support, primarily in the order and delivery process.
- Identify and resolve possible issues that may arise during the sales order to delivery process and in customer service. This will necessitate decision making, at times under pressure, and an alliance with one or more parties internationally.
- Generate quotations, verify stock availability, and manage shipping schedules within established guidelines.
- Review credit within set limits and confirm orders.
- Monitor the progress of orders and accountable for ensuring timely customer payments.
Logistics Service Support
- Assist in preparing export documentation for submission to customers and/or banks.
- Handle import and export trade inclusive letter of credit.
Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Customer Service, Food Technology, Logistics or Supply Chain
- Min 3 years of working experience in customer service, preferably in food ingredients / manufacturing or freight logistics sector
- Good working knowledge of ERP system i.e. Blend ERP
- Ability to handle import and export trade inclusive letter of credit
