About the Job

The Southeast Asia & India Multi Country Organization is part of the new international region, and includes mainly Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and India.

The SEA & India RSV / PMED Lead is accountable for leading the franchise activities for the key country (Vietnam), and supporting for other countries in the MCO as needed


Main responsibilities:

· In strict alignment with the franchise strategy defined per Glocal model, the Brand Lead, RSV & PMED is in charge of:

· Supporting the definition of the global strategy and content by bringing the insights of the key country he/she is in charge of to the MCO level

· Defining the Vietnam brand plan and support other country’s brand plans as needed, adapting the key features of the global strategy to the specificities of go to market approach, customers, and channels, allocating the resources and being accountable of the success of the local engagement strategy in the achievement of the brand.

· Leading the business case preparation for any new launch or introduction within the brands and products in scope for Vietnam, and other countries as need

· With all relevant stakeholders, build and animate a cross-functional plan and execute it (internal and external), functioning as a pivot to ensure that everybody contributes to the success of the Brand activities for the key country, and other countries as needed

· Integrate the Glocal ways of working guaranteeing the highest level of usage of the CLH resources. Engages with local agencies, only and restricted to cases defined with the global franchise teams, for specific needs of campaigns not covered by CLH

· Facilitating the network of customer engagements in the country, ensuring regular touch points with the Head of Vaccines in the country to ensure full understanding of the needs, to challenge the specific requests and to ensure consistency globally, MCO and at country level in the execution and implementation

· Leading Customer engagement in the execution as per local roadmap and strategy in close contact with VN customer engagement lead(s).

Role challenges in 2024-2025 (Strategic Planning Period)

· Launch preparedness / readiness for RSV & Menquadfi (For RSV / PMED)

· Integrate specific points related to the ongoing market challenges, competition, launches, authorities challenges, etc

· Adopt ditigal transformation and Agile methodology (e.g. Leveraging data and AI) to accelerate & scale-up new operating models

· Successfully adapt / evolve ways of working while delivering business results / avoiding business disruption.

· Champion glocal and transversal ways of working by fully leveraging centralised and standardized Sanofi frameworks (e.g., GTMC, MCO teams..)

· Ensure full alignment with MCO strategies, pricing and foster seamless collaboration with MCO teams


About you

· Education Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field

· Pharmaceutical Industry Understanding: Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry’s regulatory environment, market dynamics and the needs and behaviors of healthcare professionals and patients

· Product Knowledge: Knowledge of product portfolio including the product's features, benefits, competitive landscape, and its place in the overall product portfolio

· Customer-Centric Mindset: A deep understanding of healthcare professionals’ and patients’ needs and expectations, enabling the development of strategies and messages that resonate and deliver value

· Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; proficiency in Vietnamese is a plus

· Brand Management: Extensive experience in brand management, ideally in private market, with a proven track record in developing and executing successful brand strategies in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, particularly in a multi-country role

· Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry’s regulatory environment, market dynamics, and the specific needs and behaviors

· Omni-Channel Strategy Development: Demonstrated experience in crafting and implementing comprehensive omni-channel strategies, with a special emphasis on:

· Digital Experience with Customer-Facing Approach: Proficiency in leveraging digital platforms and tools to enhance customer interaction and engagement

· Go-to-Market Exposure: Experience in integrating digital strategies within broader go-to-market plans, including product launches and market entry strategies, to ensure a cohesive and impactful introduction of the brand to new and existing markets

· Analytical and Strategic Planning: Exceptional strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and insights into actionable strategies. This includes a deep understanding of how to leverage an integrated omni-channel approach for maximum impact

· Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in using data analytics to inform decision-making processes, especially in identifying and prioritizing customer segments for targeted marketing strategies

· Conceptual and Creative Thinking: Strong ability to employ conceptual thinking in identifying innovative solutions, and out-of-the-box thinking to challenge conventional wisdom and drive brand growth

· Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of leading diverse teams and engaging effectively with wide range of stakeholders across different cultural and regulatory landscapes. This includes managing cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of omni-channel strategies.

· Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Proficiency in adapting to rapidly changing market conditions and resolving complex issues with creative and effective solutions, particularly in the context of supply chain challenges and market entry strategies.

· Ability and mindset to adapt to new ways of working such as Agile. Leveraging Agile methodologies for cross-team project and initiatives.

· Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in marketing, such as customer data analysis, segmentation, personalization and automation. The ability to incorporate AI-driven insights and technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness and customer experience.
