Team Description:
Strategic Planning and Analytics team supports Group President and the rest of the Top Leadership’s initiatives across e-Commerce, and financial services businesses by closely collaborating with Regional and Local teams on a variety of topics.
Job Description:
We are looking to hire a leading member for our e-Commerce and financial service team to contribute to the following work:
- Support preparation of executive-level meeting materials and agenda items for the Group President and Leadership team as part of regular analytical support/ updates on the Shopee/SeaMoney business
- Support strategic projects/ deep-dives into key aspects Payments, Consumer Lending, and Digital Banking covering topics like new opportunity identification, market entry & strategy, profitability and risk of new and existing financial products, competitor benchmarking or Shopee businesses in Marketplace, Logistics, Retail, Advertising, covering topics like monetisation and spend efficiency improvements, focusing on financial and data analytics
- Support insights / run joint projects with relevant Business teams to identify new opportunities / drive measurable improvements in Shopee/Seamoney performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm, specifically McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Bain, Roland Berger, Kearney, Monitor Deloitte, Strategy&, EY-Parthenon, or Accenture Strategy, is a must
- Passion for complex problem solving using quantitative and qualitative techniques
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SQL, etc. with outstanding written and verbal communication skills to deliver exemplary client-ready output
- Strong process and stakeholder management skills – or willingness to improve them in a dynamic environment
- Self-starter who can work independently while being a team player that thrives in group settings
- Knowledge of financial services (Payments, Consumer Lending, Digital Banking) and/or e-Commerce is desirable
