Job Description & Requirements of a Construction Project Manager
- Preparation of clear development brief in respect of the Project's quality, cost and time requirements and limitations.
- Advise on the procurement strategy and prepare project budget and tender documents (pre-contract & post contract adminstartion and procedures).
- Provide building technical support to Facility Management encomposing commerical, industrial and residentail properties.
- Conduct conditional inspection on existing buildings and inspection for handing and taking over of new developments.
- Provide support on technical issues to Client.
- Perform project management work in building repairs and replacement and additional and alteration works.
- Participate in project meetings with Consultants, Contractors, Clients, etc.
- Coordinate closely with contractors/sub-contractors or site teams to ensure delievery of result.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time.
- Management and Supervise day to day project operations;
- Attend site meetings and monitor to ensure project progress is according to schedule;
- Attend site inspection, prepare and submit weekly progress reports on project status to main contractors
- Perform overall quality control of the work
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
