Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and interactive technical training sessions on IT-related topics such as Software, Networking, Wireless Communication, and other IT-related topics.
- Design, develop, and update course materials and training documentation, including manuals and online resources, to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Identify training needs and upgrade existing materials to align with industry trends and organizational requirements.
- Manage the full lifecycle of training projects, ensuring that objectives are met, from development to delivery and assessment.
- Deliver training to diverse audiences, including employees, learners, and external stakeholders, both on-site and off-site.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to learners, addressing both group and individual needs to improve their performance.
- Conduct training needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and industry best practices, incorporating relevant changes into the training curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and participants’ progress.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in conducting ICT training for various groups of learners, with a passion for imparting IT knowledge.
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) / Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) / Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDLP) certifications are desired.
- Proficient in instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and training evaluation techniques.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using training software and tools (e.g., LMS, e-learning platforms, multimedia tools).
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a focus on adapting to changing technology and business needs.
- Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), Cisco certifications, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are highly desirable.
- Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
