- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of assigned vessels at all times
- Capable of analyzing the nature and causes of serious breakdowns and damage
- Ensures vessels comply with statutory, class, and third-party requirements
- Possesses strong technical knowledge of ships and stays updated on industry standards and regulations
- Manages budget compliance to ensure maintenance and repairs meet company standards and stay within approved budget
- Coordinates activities with the operations department for efficient and cost-effective ship support
- Oversees and allocates resources to support operations effectively
- Expected to conduct regular ship visits as required by the company and consistently update vessel status
