Job Descriptions:
- Support Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager in administering all facets of service operations.
- Have the knowledge and understanding to explain and perform upselling all items offered by the department assigned as well as offering alternatives.
- Taking and scheduling reservations.
- Greeting and coordinating the seating of guests.
- Recognising the regular guests and highlighting to the Restaurant Manager about the particular guest’s preferences.
- Ensuring guests’ requests are not delayed during the operations of in the Restaurant.
- Recording and reporting all guests’ complaints to the Restaurant Manger immediately.
- Ensuring team briefings are carried out before each service period.
- Ensuring that no standing bills stays on the system, and account for all voided.
- Promoting the Restaurant by establishing a loyal and regular customer base, maintaining a regular customer database and personalising customer service.
- Ensuring that the Waiters and Waitresses in their sections are able to describe the dishes for the evening and any extra dishes (specials) properly and are well groomed, properly attired and efficient.
- Maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness, the maintenance of furnishings and equipment and the proper set up of in the Restaurant and connected areas or pantries.
- Participating in monthly physical stock take of the Restaurant, including but not limited to glassware, plate and crockery.
- Assisting the Restaurant Manager in Implementing and developing of training programs.
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in F&B
- Possesses problem-solving, motivating and organization skills
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Highly Responsible and reliable
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
