We are seeking a highly experienced Automation and Control Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex automation and control systems in industrial environments. The role involves expertise in PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), as well as proficiency in IT/OT cybersecurity, Digital Twin technologies, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize industrial operations and drive digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using PLC, SCADA, and DCS platforms.
- Create and integrate Digital Twin models for virtual replication of physical assets and processes.
- Develop IIoT systems to enhance industrial connectivity and real-time data analysis.
- Systems Integration:
- Lead integration of control systems with enterprise IT systems for seamless communication between operational technology (OT) and IT environments.
- Ensure robust data exchange between automation platforms and the cloud using IIoT frameworks.
- Cybersecurity:
- Implement and manage cybersecurity strategies for IT and OT networks.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and secure communication protocols for industrial control systems (ICS).
- Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor system performance and ensure continuous operation of automation solutions.
- Provide preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, IT, and engineering, to optimize control systems performance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for automation and control system-related projects and initiatives.
- Documentation:
- Prepare technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, user manuals, and project reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in system design and implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in designing,implementing, and managing automation and control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS).
- Proven experience in IT and OT cybersecurity practices, including knowledge of industry standards (e.g., IEC 62443).
- Hands-on experience with Digital Twin technologies and IIoT frameworks.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider).
- In-depth knowledge of SCADA and DCS systems.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., MODBUS, OPC, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and protocols for OT environments.
- Knowledge of Digital Twin platforms and solutions.
- Understanding of IIoT and cloud connectivity for industrial applications.
- Certifications:
- Certifications related to automation,cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, GICSP), and control systems are highly desirable.

- Strong project management skills with experience leading large-scale automation projects.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, including ISA, IEC, and NIST standards for industrial control systems.
