Job Description
The Java Developer will be responsible for developing application programs using the Java programming language, based on functional requirements derived from projects. This role also includes supporting unit testing activities to ensure the functionality and reliability of the applications. The developer will report to the Java Build Manager/Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
· Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
· Implement and code business or functional requirements as per the technical specifications.
· Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code following industry standards.
· Ensure designs adhere to specifications and project framework standards.
· Implement unit testing methodologies, such as JUnit, and support the practice of test-driven development (TDD).
· Prepare and produce software releases in coordination with the build and release processes.
Required Skills
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
· 3-5 years of experience in Java programming and web development.
· Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and development principles.
· Proficiency in Java and web programming, with hands-on experience in developing Java-based applications.
· Experience with software development processes and methodologies.
· Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
· Experience with web user interface design and development.
· Familiarity with software debugging tools and techniques.
