- Salary: $2,800 - $3,200 + Shift Allowances + OT, Gross salary: $3800 - $4500
- 5.5 Days / 12 hours Shift Role (Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm); Sat (8am – 12pm) / Shift Work (Day: 8am – 8pm, Night :8pm – 8am)
- Company transport provided at west MRT / Transport Allowance $120 if candidate possess own transport
- Location: Tuas, West Singapore
Requirements
- At least Diploma in Engineering or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Chemistry or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Supervisory level
- Required experience in rotary kiln incinerator or boiler operations
- Able to perform 12-hr rotating shift
Responsibilities
- Overall responsible for smooth operation and process control in Incinerator & Boiler Turbine Plants.
- Constantly look into improvement of the operation’s efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Assist in planning and monitoring the daily needs of consumable, tools and equipment for the plant.
- Assist in planning and monitoring of section’s budget and expenditures.
- Develop and implement methods for optimum operation (i.e: lower operation cost, minimum manpower utilization, maximize process and machine capacity).
- Develop and implement operation procedures as per ISO & OHSAS standard. Ensure procedures communicated and training provided to staff at all levels.
- Prepare the Incinerator & Boiler for inspection and ensure requirements of the Plant are met at all times.
- Ensure the air pollutants emitted from the stacks meet the prescribed standards stipulated under NEA.
- Develop and prepare daily, weekly, monthly, yearly Plant maintenance schedules and arrange manpower effectively in shut down maintenance.
- Plan for proper steam and power distribution, as well as arrange advance notice to other department if there is any interruption in power supply from Boiler Plant and synchronizing PUB power supply.
- Regularly conduct patrolling and inspection on site. Ensure efficient functioning of steam boiler, machine and process equipment.
- Update changes of the process and equipment as per MOC. Conduct Hazop analysis, review and revise risk assessment as well as update impacts, aspects and hazards listing.
- Report work injury immediately. Conduct incident/accident investigation. Propose and implement preventive/corrective action to all levels.
- Complete and review monthly operation report (e.g: costs. Productivity, quality, non conformances, etc) as well as prepare and analyze collected operation data sheets and records.
- Maintain filling of all documents, records and drawings in the section.
- Supervise a team of technician and operators in their job performance, conduct motivating or counselling session to improve staff’s quality and quantity of work when required.
- Plan on upgrade for the staff’s skill and knowledge required on the job. Provide sufficient in house training on operation, maintenance as well as emergencies response and evacuation knowledge to staff.
- Observe and enforce EHS rules and regulations, promote EHS awareness, proper usage of PPE items as well as inculcate staff to practice good EHS on the job.
- To review SOP/RA from time to time ensuring the team follow strictly on SOP
Secondary Role
- Ensure contractor carry out repairing and maintenance works safety by adhere to EHS rules and regulations.
- Review contractor’s work performance regularly.
- To assist engineering department in maintenance of plant facilities such as compressors, pumps, motors, etc and developing the preventive maintenance plan.
