Job Summary
- Provide good customer experience to the policyholders while assisting policyholders in their claims recovery journey. Health insurance is a major focus for the organisation and in this role, you will assist to drive and improve Third Party Claims Recovery rate to support the individual health insurance business.
- You will be the first point of contact to the customer and financial consultants to initiate and create awareness of the benefits of claims recovery journey.
- Our goal is to identify and employ confident, self-starting, highly motivated individuals who display high-energy and intelligence to achieving our departmental financial objectives.
- As member of Health Claim Services Department, you will put your soft skills to work; communicating with policyholders to gather the critical information necessary for the prompt and successful claims recovery.
Responsibilities
- You are expected to achieve targets set which involves calling of policyholders on a daily basis to initiate recovery;
- Engage and communicate with our policyholders to gather information and assist them in claim submission to third party
- Use sound communication skills to successfully persuade and convince policyholders to
- proceed with the claims recovery process;
- Demonstrate and ensure standard operating procedures are met when handling outbound and inbound calls with policyholders and financial consultants;
- Ensuring proper tracking and documentation of call activities and outcomes;
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes
- appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and
- technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
- Any other ad-hoc assignments/projects assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, insurance qualifications or equivalent experience preferably 1 year of insurance claims recovery and/or claim operations experience;
- Prior experience in customer service will be an added advantage;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Team player as well as capable of individual performance;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Good interpersonal, analytical and negotiation abilities required;
- Knowledge of life insurance policy coverage, statutes, regulations and subrogation processing is a plus;
