The purpose of the Solution Architect is to deliver innovation and expert guidance to End Users and our Channel partners, including Design Consultants, Panel Builders, and Contractors for Segment applications. Working closely with the Project leader and Segment leaders, the technical leader will:
Responsibilities
- Design cutting-edge solutions and architectures to strengthen the company's competitive edge.
- Lead high-level discussions with customers to identify both stated and unstated needs, translating them into power system architectures that highlight Company's product strengths.
- Provide expert support to customers and ecosystem partners in areas such as power systems, protection plans (LV/MV), power automation, monitoring, and control.
- Develop valuable content to promote and advocate solutions through workshops and training sessions, including reference designs, whitepapers, webinars, and conferences
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Hyperscale Datacenter applications with the ability to lead technical discussions with customers to understand their specific needs.
- Comprehend customers' key performance indicators, constraints, operations, and roles & responsibilities within their respective industrial applications.
- Possess expertise in High, Medium, and Low Voltage system design and execution for the Datacenter industry, conducting preliminary engineering designs in compliance with local and international design codes.
- Drive technological innovation through customer experimentation and exploration of next-generation architectures.
- Contribute to the definition of optimized and competitive HV/MV/LV power systems architecture based on Company’s catalogue and contribute to the definition of innovative electrical distribution architectures.
- Build appropriate reference architectures, technical materials, and documentations to promote solutions emphasizing on differentiation and customer benefits.
- Knowledge in power systems engineering (network simulation, protection, AC & DC power electronics conversion (UPS/DC Charger), power quality, reliability)
- Ability to Value Engineer the customer solutions with the focus on overall Electrical Architecture.
- Very good knowledge of company’s offers (LV/MV Equipment, UPS, monitoring & control, relays)
- Very good knowledge in Power system studies and equipment sizing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Over 10 years of experience in Electrical Power System design engineering, with a strong consulting background.
- Experience in leading electrical design for Hyperscale Datacenters is highly desired.
- Proficient in using power system analysis software such as ETAP.
- Well-versed in project business models with experience working alongside channel partners, including design consultants, panel builders, and contractors.
- Experienced in direct customer engagement.
