Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily cost accounting tasks, review and correct Purchase Price Variances and Work Order Variances.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular cost reports
  • Perform cost roll activities for new product launches and product transfers.
  • Participate in the annual cost roll process.
  • Conduct scrap review and manage reclassification activities.
  • Oversee costing and inventory month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory analysis reports and support E&O management processes.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure the Cycle Count Program adheres to company policies, including witnessing cycle counts and approving count sheets.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports related to costing and inventory for management review.
  • Analyze cost fluctuations and recommend actions for cost containment and efficiency improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with internal controls.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in cost accounting, with a focus on inventory management or equivalent
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other relevant systems) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight deadlines
