Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily cost accounting tasks, review and correct Purchase Price Variances and Work Order Variances.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular cost reports
- Perform cost roll activities for new product launches and product transfers.
- Participate in the annual cost roll process.
- Conduct scrap review and manage reclassification activities.
- Oversee costing and inventory month-end closing activities.
- Prepare Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory analysis reports and support E&O management processes.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure the Cycle Count Program adheres to company policies, including witnessing cycle counts and approving count sheets.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports related to costing and inventory for management review.
- Analyze cost fluctuations and recommend actions for cost containment and efficiency improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with internal controls.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in cost accounting, with a focus on inventory management or equivalent
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other relevant systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight deadlines
