About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Trading Analyst to join the growing front office team.
In this role, you will:
- Work with Sales / Trading team members to achieve targeted revenue goals on an annual basis.
- Create presentation materials for existing and prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate records and files regarding customer visits, customer conversations and finalized contracts.
- Work with other departments (i.e. trading/sales, sales support, client service, marketing, legal, compliance) to ensure that all clients requests, inquiries, post trade issues are managed effectively.
- Manage account opening process and coordinate with internal teams to complete the process.
- Solicit customer feedback regarding new initiatives and future product development.
- Maintain relationships and remain knowledgeable on global political, economic and financial trends.
- Keep abreast of new or amended regulations and development of foreign or designated markets and advise manager of any
- changes, which may affect the decisions and planning in trading and investment activities.
- Manage pricing and risk of client flows, construction of robust, data-driven trade ideas, consistent communication with relevant team members.
- Analysis of client flows; development of tools that measure and analyze Desk performance.
- Work with other teams on the platform to quickly and accurately disseminate market relevant information, to produce commentary on a regular basis that focuses on trading opportunities for clients and internal partners.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Securities Trading, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in trading G10 FX Swaps, STIR products and Xccy Swaps.
- University degree in finance, economics or related discipline.
- Eager to understand and experience dealing with major international institutions including asset managers, broker, dealers and consultants.
- Creative thinker and problem solver, with strong numerical, verbal and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines, coupled with a commitment to the highest quality standards, professionalism and is detailed oriented.
- Self-starter and highly motivated; ability to work individually and within a global team.
- Strong writing and communication skills in English are required.
- The candidate will be required to attain and hold relevant MAS-required license qualification upon joining.
