Job Summary:
Sales Manager will oversee the daily operations of the sales team, ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded. This role involves managing and motivating the sales staff, implementing sales strategies, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Hire, lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Customer Relations: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for new and existing sales team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
- Sales Operations: Oversee daily sales activities, including customer interactions, vehicle demonstrations, and closing deals. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to Head of Division(HOD). Track and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory managers to ensure optimal stock levels and effective vehicle presentation.
- Marketing Support: Work with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns and events to drive sales.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and practices in the automotive industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Valid driver’s license.
