We are seeking a Procurement Logistics Manager for a Shipowner to enhance their procurement strategies and optimize our third-party spending. This role is key in developing and implementing procurement best practices within the Logistics category.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Logistics category strategy by creating and updating it in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Track performance by leading category performance initiatives that align with global procurement standards.
- Drive process improvements within the procurement-to-pay (P2P) framework.
- Negotiate effectively by utilizing strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes with suppliers.
- Manage sourcing projects by overseeing strategic sourcing and ensuring alignment of costs with operational needs.
- Conduct analysis by performing data and cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and setting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build relationships by establishing effective partnerships and managing procurement risks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders by working with key stakeholders to implement important initiatives.
- Ensure safety compliance by upholding safety standards and principles in all procurement activities.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant experience in procurement and logistics management within Maritime.
- Proven ability in the development and execution of procurement category strategies
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with digital procurement tools is a plus.
