Duties and Responsibilities
- Modification and improvement of existing products
- Development of new products
- Performing laboratory testing and characterization of products
- Support commercial team in technical analysis of customer specification and drive internal discussion specification review process.
- Support Operations and Quality teams in resolving technical problem and cost-down projects
- Liaise with suppliers to source for new raw materials and additives
- Lab management – keeping lab clean and safe, maintenance of lab equipment, ability to handle heavy loads, including disposal of chemical waste
- Customer interactions may be required at times
- Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Advanced Diploma/ Specialist Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent, majoring chemical, chemistry, materials (particularly polymer) or related.
- Experience (including internship) in formulation and/or coating of emulsions, UV curable and hotmelts are highly welcome.
- 1-3 years of working experience. Fresh graduates are also welcome.
- Bilingual (English/ Chinese) in communication with our overseas customers and colleagues (written/ spoken)
